South Salt Lake, UT Boosts Planning with Velosimo Integration

The City of South Salt Lake is prepared to take a significant leap forward in urban management and planning. Soon, the City plans to integrate Cityworks PLL with Bluebeam, facilitated by a strategic collaboration with Velosimo. This upcoming integration promises to enhance how the City handles its plan review documents by automating the transfer from Cityworks PLL to Bluebeam Studio. "With this integration, we are not just adopting new technology; we are embracing a future where efficiency and streamlined processes are at the forefront of urban management," states Kris Trujillo, CEO of Velosimo.

Anticipated to benefit South Salt Lake significantly, this integration will organize multiple Bluebeam Studio sessions under a single project, ensuring more efficient and organized plan reviews. Designed with business users in mind, the system will be easy to set up and maintain, allowing for updates and adding new documents without complex programming. This forward-looking step is expected to enhance the City's insights into urban development projects, expedite plan reviews, and lead to a more effectively managed city, marking a new era in the City of South Salt Lake's approach to urban planning.

The City of South Salt Lake was originally settled in 1847 by Latter-Day Saints pioneers. Nearly a century would pass before this small tract of farmland along MillCreek, and the Jordan River would be incorporated as South Salt Lake. The land was first developed by Jesse Fox Jr in 1890.
