Portland Partners with Velosimo to Streamline Online Payments

Velosimo is excited to announce our latest collaboration with the City of Portland, Oregon, leveraging our innovative integration of Accela Citizen Access with Elavon. This partnership marks a significant step forward in streamlining the City’s cannabis and liquor licensing payment transaction processes. By implementing this integration, Portland citizens will enjoy a seamless transition from Accela Citizen Access to Elavon's payment screens, facilitating credit card and ACH transactions easily. Our solution simplifies the collection of convenience and service fees and ensures a streamlined daily reconciliation process. Designed with the end-user in mind, this integration supports Accela On-Premise and Cloud environments and is PCI compliant, ensuring the highest security and efficiency standards.

Kris Trujillo, CEO of Velosimo, commented on the partnership: "We are thrilled to be working with the City of Portland, bringing them into the forefront of digital transformation in public services. Our Accela to Elavon integration enhances payment transactions and creates a more connected, efficient, and user-friendly experience for staff and residents. With features like quick and easy setup, robust insights into transactions, and smart recovery capabilities, we are confident that this integration will greatly benefit the City of Portland by optimizing operational efficiency and improving citizen engagement, particularly in the vital area of cannabis and liquor licensing."

Portland is known as “Beervana” thanks to its standing as a microbrewery capital. You’ll find more than 75 microbreweries around the area, each cooking with local ingredients, including hops and barley grown in the Willamette Valley. Sip some samples at the annual Oregon Brewers Festival, which takes place downtown in Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
