City of Fremont Taps Velosimo Again to Extend ePermitting Capabilities with iPaaS Expansion
Fremont, CA – In a continued push toward streamlined digital government services, the City of Fremont has approved an amendment to its Master Licensing Agreement with Velosimo, Inc., expanding its iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) integrations to include a new connection between Accela and Laserfiche. This move builds on Fremont’s ongoing effort to enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, and eliminate paper from permitting workflows.
Velosimo, the leading provider of purpose-built government iPaaS solutions, already connects Fremont’s permitting platform, Accela, with Docusign and ePlanReview. With the addition of Laserfiche, the City’s new digital archive system, staff and residents alike will benefit from a more unified, seamless permitting experience. This integration enables the automatic export of finalized permit documents directly into Fremont’s digital records library, saving time and reducing errors.
“The City of Fremont continues to lead by example in modernizing local government,” said Kris Trujillo, Founder of Velosimo. “This third integration demonstrates the value of continuity and trust. It’s a win for agency efficiency and transparency with the public.”
The City Council authorized the agreement amendment to increase the contract’s not-to-exceed amount by $82,731, bringing the total to $175,561, and to extend the term through 2029. With implementation scheduled to align with Laserfiche’s August 2025 launch, this iPaaS connector is a critical next step in Fremont’s digital transformation.
Velosimo was again selected over other integration vendors for its proven track record and native alignment with Accela, simplifying connectivity and ensuring continuity for the City’s IT Services team.
