Inglewood Aligns Revenue Records with Velosimo Connect™ Integration Between HdL and Tyler Cashiering

Inglewood, CA — The City of Inglewood implemented a new Velosimo Connect™ integration that seamlessly connects HdL and Tyler Cashiering, keeping business license and tax revenue data aligned across both systems. Payments processed at the cashiering window automatically transfer to HdL, eliminating the manual double entry typically required during daily closeout.

By processing payments against HdL records, Tyler Cashiering keeps revenue information consistent between the counter and the revenue system. Staff can see what has been collected and what is still outstanding, spend less time chasing mismatched entries, and count on a faster, more dependable daily close.

Velosimo Connect delivers the HdL-to-Tyler Cashiering integration as a ready-to-deploy product rather than a custom development project. This means the City of Inglewood had no development work to manage and has no custom code to maintain. The connection between cashiering and revenue management is configuration-based, not custom-coded, helping ensure long-term reliability and compatibility as either system evolves.

"Revenue collected in one system and tracked in another is exactly where manual work and errors tend to build up," said Maury Blackman, CEO of Velosimo. "By connecting Tyler Cashiering and HdL with Velosimo Connect, Inglewood is giving staff accurate revenue records without anyone re-entering a transaction."
